About the Practitioner

Debbie has owned and operated Painfree5280 since 2000. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and over two decades of experience in body work, she specializes in helping clients manage chronic and acute pain through the Pain Neutralization Technique, Lymphatic Drainage and Trauma Touch Therapy. Add-on techniques include Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Graston and Kinesiology Taping.

Her journey into body work began after experiencing the benefits firsthand. While working as a computer network engineer, she relied on therapeutic modalities to recover from a 1996 whiplash injury, as well as carpal tunnel and TMJ developed during her tech career. These experiences inspired her to pursue a profession focused on healing and well‑being.

Outside of her practice, Debbie stays active and engaged in her community. She enjoys pickleball, biking, weightlifting, and cross‑country skiing, volunteers regularly, cheers on Denver’s sports teams, and values time with friends and family. She is a proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), license number 0014802.

EDUCATION

1999-2000: Colorado School of Healing Arts, 680 hours Massage Therapy Program.

2000: 100-hour massage therapy internship at Swedish Hospital

2000: 100-hour certification in Trauma Touch Therapy TM.

2013, 2017, 2023-2025: Over 70 hours of advanced training in the Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT). Debbie is proud of the fact that she receives client referrals from several different physical therapy organizations and local Doctors, Dentists and Physician Assistants.

November 2018: Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD) certification.

Debbie has trained in many massage therapy techniques over the years, but as of June 2023 she no longer offers traditional massage therapy. With so many people seeking relief from chronic pain and given the strong results she sees with the Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT), her practice now focuses exclusively on PNT, Lymphatic Drainage, and Trauma Touch Therapy TM.
