About the Practitioner

I have owned and operated Painfree5280 since 2000. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and over two decades of experience in body work, I specialize in helping clients manage chronic and acute pain through the Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT), Lymphatic Drainage and Trauma Touch Therapy TM. Add-on techniques include Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Graston and Kinesiology Taping.

My journey into body work began after experiencing the benefits firsthand. While working as a computer network engineer, I relied on therapeutic modalities to recover from a 1996 whiplash injury, as well as carpal tunnel and TMJ developed during my Tech career. These experiences inspired me to pursue a profession focused on healing and well‑being.

Outside of my practice, I stay active and connected to my community. I enjoy playing pickleball, biking, weightlifting, cross‑country skiing, and volunteering. I cheer on Denver’s sports teams and value time with friends and family. I am also a proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), license number 0014802.

EDUCATION

1999-2000: Colorado School of Healing Arts, 680 hours Massage Therapy Program.

2000: 100-hour massage therapy internship at Swedish Hospital

2000: 100-hour certification in Trauma Touch Therapy TM.

2013, 2017, 2023-2025: Over 70 hours of advanced training in the Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT). I am proud of the fact that I receive client referrals from several different physical therapy organizations and local Doctors, Dentists and Physician Assistants.

November 2018: Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD) certification.

I have trained in many massage therapy techniques over the years, but as of June 2023 I no longer offer traditional massage therapy. With so many people seeking relief from chronic pain and given the strong results I see with the Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT), I now focus exclusively on PNT, Lymphatic Drainage, and Trauma Touch Therapy TM.
